Three Million Miles and Counting

Thank you for visiting my website and checking out my photographs and a few of my stories. While I love photography, the stories truly bring my photographs to life. For example, on my first day in Thimphu, Bhutan, I wanted momos (steamed buns), the “fast food” of the Himalayas. You can see the television playing in the background as a handful of people enjoy their lunch. Nothing fancy, yet extremely fun, and the food was delicious.

The point is when I travel I try to enjoy a lifestyle that represents the daily routine of the local people. Sure, there’s always time to take in the tourist sites, but to really understand a city, a country, a culture, push yourself to break free from the normal tourist routine and you’ll create an adventure.

I’ve been fortunate to travel to all 50 United States and close to 50 countries. I’m a member of the Board of Governors of The Circumnavigators Club and the author of three books. Most notably, The Millennial’s Guide to Business Travel was published in 2016, and my most recent book, Himalaya Memories, was published in 2021. I live in Los Angeles, California.

Now that the pandemic restrictions are lifting, it’s time once again to travel. Planning a trip? If you need some suggestions, please send me a note.

Safe travels!
